Inspectors, new and seasoned, your leniency with specifications, procedures, standards, and directives handed to you by the Client to enforce will for sure open doors you will not be able to close. You have been assigned a position to oversee the work for the Client under their terms to which both the inspection company and the contractor performing the work has agreed to. Any variance from the directives you have been handed to work by shall come directly from your Supervisor. Work smart, don't gamble with your livelihood.
